Open letters....

I was reading some of the other blogs I follow reasonably regularly (like today when the sun is shining, I am cosy in bed watching the green leaves and wonderful sunshine you the window), and I cm upon the notion of an 'open letter' which I LOVE.

What is an Open letter (I nearly wrote window... hee hee) - you ask?
Well, it's a letter you want to write to any one, about something you'd like to say to them. You might get the chance one day, you might not, but this time, you'll have at least 'said ' it some where.

Dear Friends in South Africa

I know we hardly ever talk, and I know life is busy with 'other things', but I want you to know I think about you, and I miss you. I'd like to hear what's really going on in your life now and then - if only once every two months, that would be good.
Thanks for being in my life in SA - you made it a much better and richer experience!

Dear Ex

I wish you'd see more of the kids, I wish they had the opportunity to spend more time with you, and I wish you'd try harder. You don't work, you have free travel, and they have just had 6 weeks of holiday. I call every week to arrange a day on the weekend and you're always busy. That amazes me. I hope it makes you happy , it sure makes me sad!

Thanks for doing a great job. The school is great, the teachers are engaging, and my kids are happy. The stuff you put on is brilliant, and the extra tutoring you do for kids after school really helps. Well done,oh, and I'll try help out more this year!
