Once upon a time a kid went to it's Mum, sat her down and said :
"Mum, I'd just like to thank you for everything you do for us. I'd like to thank you for providing food shelter, love, material goods, physical hugs and kisses, and looking after all the other needs we have. I'd like you to know how much we appreciate it, and value you."
And then I woke up!
Instead, it looked at an investment account in it's name (post came through), and it said:
"geez, that's not gonna get me far!"
I wondered if it was worth explaining the joys of compound interest, or the value of at least having a parent saving for it AT ALL, or the virtue of being appreciative........ and I just gave up.
My headache is far greater than me need to talk to ungrateful kids.
More headache pills, back into bed, and see you next week.......
