Well, easter has come and gone - dunno where it hides after it's gone, probably under the bed next to the Boogey Man, untill next easter when it pops up and makes you eat enough chocolate to make u puke.
Well, that's my excuse. I did an Easter egg hunt for the kids, of course, divided up the area in which they could hunt so no fighting occurred. We did Grace at dinner, and we saw no family what so ever. Bliss.
The week before had been a flurry of tourist activity, the type you never get to do in your own town, cos it's for the tourists, but we did it all.
We went up table mountain on the Cable car. Fantastic view, and the floor of the cable car revolves so you get a full 360 degree view as you go up and down.
We did the Rollercoaster park, and the Scratch patch where you collect semi-precious gems in a cup, and then lug it home or in you bag whilst shopping for 3 hours.
We did the Wine farms, including the picnic under the trees, which was hot, and delightful, and we did the shopping, beach, penguins, swimming, lazy pool swimming.
All very busy and quite exhausting. So when my son asked for PlayStation, I was quite happy to let him play for 5 hours so I could rest!
I'm back to work, still another week of holidays before they go back, and then life gets back to semi-normal, cos it never is.
All this and I might be losing my job too! Anyone got a job for me?
